The suspension Karat Blau by designer Axel Schmid and the Ingo Maurer brand is a unique, eye-catching piece. It’s made up of a red metal structure on which hang four gold plaques, which can be hung in portrait or landscape format, to suit individual tastes and create a very personal hanging arrangement. Each 24 Karat Blau gold screen is individually produced by hand in Japan. The very fine gold leaf is then cast into acrylic plates using a unique process. Thanks to a special gold-striking technique, the very fine gold leaf has a magnificent star-shaped pattern.
