Description
Created in 1957 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and produced by Zanotta, Mezzadro is a true design icon. The shape of this very flexible stool seems to defy the laws of gravity. The stool leg is made of chrome-plated flat steel, and the base is in steamed beech with a natural finish. The seat is a tractor seat in red gloss. The Mezzadro stool is featured in a number of museum collections around the world.
