MoMA asked Philippe Starck and Emeco to make a « simple » stool for the Mies Van der Rohe retrospective in Berlin. The result is the robust and lightweight Best-seller stool. Its seat, consisting of a circle inside a square, makes it both practical and sophisticated. Made of recycled and brushed aluminium, it is suitable for outdoor use.
