Philippe Stark gives the classic bedside lamp a makeover by designing Miss K for Flos. The body of the table lamp is made of injection-moulded PMMA. The inner diffuser is injection-moulded opaline polycarbonate and the outer diffuser is injection-moulded aluminised polycarbonate or pleated fabric. When switched off, the lamp is opaque. When switched on, the internal diffuser can be seen. The play of light in the Flos Miss K lamp is intensified thanks to the dimmer switch.
