Description
With its elegant elliptical silhouette, the Elliptical coffee table, designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1951, was quickly nicknamed the « Surfboard Table » because of its shape. With its two chromed steel legs, the table, produced by Vitra, features a recurring theme in Eames design: steel bent and weldedto form a stable frame with a lightweight appearance. The table top is made of highly durable black high-pressure laminate with a delicate, kraft-coloured edge.
