With Moon, design studio Space Copenhagen has created for Gubi a collection of organically shaped tables designed for both domestic and public spaces. The magnificent marble table-top is fixed on a round base with a bevelled surface, serving as both structure and ornament. The interplay between these two elements gives the Moon coffee table a simple yet strong design identity. The result is an elegant coffee table with clear references to traditional Danish carpentry, where homage is paid to the marriage between design and craftsmanship.
