With Palette, designer Jaime Hayon has created a collection of multi-level tables for And Tradition, inspired by Alexander Calder’s kinetic sculptures. The idea was to create several shapes suspended in the air but held in place by a metal frame. The Palette desk features a top with rounded lines, somewhat echoing the shape of a bean, and a small round raised shelf, which adds a functional yet aesthetic touch. The top is made of wood, while the shelf is in either brass or marble. This choice of finishes creates a contrast between the two parts of the desk, enhancing its elegant appearance. Published by And Tradition, the collection also includes small side tables and coffee tables.
