Beetle is a series of chairs edited by Gubi and inspired by the shape of the beetle. The seat and backrest are made of moulded plywood, covered with fabric and padded for optimum comfort. The slightly conical legs are made of black epoxy coated steel or brass. The elegant shape of the Beetle seat is highlighted by leather piping. GamFratesi studio’s creations embody the union of Italian design with Danish sobriety. Contrasts are often the key to the inspiration of this duo who work with a purely Scandinavian artisanal approach, simple and functional, but always with a strong concept and story, integrated in each of their creations.
