Fritz Hansen reissues the Vico Duo chair to mark Vico Magistretti’s 100th birthday. The designer conceived this chair in 1997, sitting around his sketches in Fritz Hansen’s dedicated design department. He wanted to collaborate with the brand, to benefit from its expertise in veneer. The chair has a simple design with narrow lines. A freely drawn ‘Z’ line on the sketch inspired the back of the chair’s armrests – an unusual element that intentionally balances the design. The armrests and the legs at the rear are made of a single piece of steel – another unique aspect of design. Fritz Hansen combines beauty and functionality with this elegant stackable veneer chair.
