Description
One of the essential characteristics of the Yuh lamp, designed by Gamfratesi is that it is personal. Edited by Louis Poulsen, theYuh Floor lamp is flexible and takes up very little space. It can be rotated, raised and lowered to create light and atmosphere in the area of your choice. The shape of the lampshade is geometrically designed from the movement of the lampshade on the base. The transition from a circular shape at the bottom of the shade to a straight opening at the top gives it its minimalist style. The name Yuh is the phonetic form of « You », the letters corresponding to the sound produced by the voice to say « you ». The angle of the shade can be adjusted to optimise light distribution. A narrow opening at the top of the shade provides soft upward ambient lighting.
