Description
The 7 Fauteuil Tournant swivel armchair was created by Charlotte Perriand in 1927 for her apartment on Place Saint-Sulpice in Paris. In 1928, it was exhibited at the 1928 Salon des Artistes, and then included in the Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret collection. Like the 4 Chaise Longue, the 2 Fauteuil Grand Confort or the 3 Fauteuil Grand Confort, the 7 Fauteuil Tournant has become a great modern design classic, thanks to its sleek lines and impeccable functional and material qualities. It has now been re-released by Cassina and is available in black or white leather.
