In 1927, Eileen Gray designed the Castellar mirror for the E 1027 house. Produced by Classicon, this decorative accessory, like most of the Gray’s creations, has become a design classic. The geometrically shaped mirror has a pivoting section that allows the user to view themselves anywhere in the bedroom or entrance hall. Castellar is made of cut crystal with a bevelled edge, surrounded by a chrome-plated steel frame. All these little details reveal the finesse and refinement of Eileen Gray’s creations.
