Like most tables made by Eileen Gray, Lou Perou can be transformed into a practical product for everyday use. As always, the designer found an unexpected solution: with Lou Perou, the folding part of the table is supported by a single leg, breaking with the perfect symmetry of the structure. Eileen Gray named this piece after her last house, Lou Perou, which she built at the age of 76 above St Tropez. Produced by Classicon, it has a folding top in lacquered MDF and is fixed on a chromed-steel base, making it an innovative and practical dining table.
