Inspired by classic bistro furniture, the Belleville collection takes its name from the Parisian district where designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec’s studio is located. The series consists of contemporary chairs and tables with a dynamic and refined look, but with a certain tradition. The table, available in round, square or rectangular versions, has a slender base in die-cast aluminium with a black epoxy finish, combined with a top in oak veneer or solid laminate. The 200cm long rectangular table is made with a solid wood top. Combined with the chairs in the same collection, the Belleville table by Vitra is equally at home in a domestic space – a kitchen or a dining room – as in a public place, such as a restaurant. The laminated version is also suitable for outdoor use.
