For the brand Petite Friture, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance has designed Méditerranea, a collection of elegant brushed brass lighting fixtures. The series includes a table lamp, a reading light, a wall light and a hanging lamp. Each piece is based on the same principle: a thin sheet of sculpted metal draped over a light structure. The metal sheet is reminiscent of a drying cloth floating in the window of a Mediterranean balcony. The pattern cut out in brass plays with light to create a soft and poetic atmosphere in a dining room or bedroom.
