Description
In 1945, Charles and Ray Eames imagined a plywood elephant, originally designed as a children’s toy but never mass-produced. Today, Vitra is re-releasing this iconic plastic model, making this object both playful and decorative accessible to all. TheEames Elephant can be used as a toy, including outdoors, or as an object of playful decoration whether for a child’s room or in any other space of the house. Children can climb on this animal, with its touching gaze and its large ears, it invites both play and tenderness. The small version, with an identical design but on a smaller scale, is now available in recycled and recyclable plastic sourced from industrial waste.
