Between abstraction and visual poetry, the Nuvolette carpet imagined by Fornasetti transforms the cloud pattern into a refined and timeless graphic composition. Created by CC-Tapis, this drawing reinterpreted by Barnaba Fornasetti abandons any realistic representation to give way to a subtle play of moving lines, shades and shapes. The aerial curves and delicately crafted details create a sense of depth and movement, evoking a sky in permanent transformation. Minimalist in its approach, the motif nevertheless reveals a great visual richness, where each detail participates in the balance of the whole. Made of wool using the jacquard technique, the Nuvolette rug integrates the patterns directly into the fiber to achieve a rich texture, beautiful graphic depth, and a slight sheen that enhances the design.
