Elogio marks the meeting between Tobia Scarpa’s formal rigor and Gubi’s modular approach to contemporary comfort. Designed from three elements: two side modules and a central module, allowing a wide variety of configurations: linear, angled, island or more informal. This flexibility makes the sofa Elogio a sofa designed to adapt to the diversity of spaces as well as the evolution of uses. The cushions, identical in size and interchangeable, are at the heart of the system. Connected by a discreet textile link, they can be superimposed horizontally or vertically, becoming either backrest, armrest or support to lie down. This repositioning game creates a visual dynamic while offering a customizable seating experience. The design draws on the language of the 70s, between assertive geometry, generous proportions and careful details. The low construction and full volumes reflect a strong but balanced presence, both welcoming and structured. Offered in a selection of textured fabrics, supple leathers or refined cottons, Elogio offers a contemporary interpretation of the modular sofa, between comfort, functionality and aesthetic expression.
