Designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1981, the Ashoka lamp takes its name from the emperor of the Maurya empire. This table lamp looks like an unstable stack of playful geometric shapes. Although it appears « unstructured », the Ashoka lamp is in fact well balanced, assembled in a perfectly symmetrical arrangement resting on a solid grey rectangular base. Edited by Memphis Milano, the Ashoka lamp is a veritable sculpture of light.This product comes with a certificate of authenticity.
