Designed by young Danish designer Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen, the Eddy lamp, unique in proportions, perfectly combines balance and movement. It is composed of a lampshade that seems to float lightly above a solid base with organic shapes. Steel and marble are the main materials of this lamp and the golden sheen of brass adds the finishing touch. The flat lampshade, with an integrated LED bulb, is placed on a handcrafted base made of solid Italian marble. The lampshade and the base are connected by a round pivot in bright gold-plated brass, which allows the direction of the lighting to be adjusted. The light thus projected onto the marble accentuates the changes associated with this material. The Eddy table lamp by Normann Copenhagen provides subdued light, ideal in the living room or bedroom.
