The designer turned his attention to decoration, creating a colourful garment to clothe the product. When closed, the Fatman folding tray is a table sculpture and transforms into a tiered tray when opened. This means that it not only has a practical function, but also an aesthetic one. The colourful decoration, combined with the round shape, tends to emphasise the formal perception of the object. Fatman, as his name suggests, has the features of a man with a robust body, dressed like a clown.
